Taxir

After stepping out of the banking sector, I joined Ammar Manla Hassan (former Music Journalist) and Nour Ezzedine (cultural curator and journalist, in founding Taxir).

Taxir is an initiative working towards facilitating blockchain adoption in MENA.

Taxir consists of two entities. A non-profit research center named Tafkir, that's specialized in researching MENA blockchain adoption, opportunities and obstacles, and developing public good projects on communication, education and research levels to respond to research findings. And a for-profit Marketing & PR agency called Taxir, specialized in helping serious blockchain projects navigate through MENA.

My financial experience helped me create a financial and accounting systems for Taxir, and putting some essential tools that make day to day management easier and scalable.

Tafkir is currently developing the first Arabic blockchain glossary in partnership with three other initiatives from the region. It is also hosting El Salon, a virtual meeting space for serious blockchain projects operating in MENA.
