Credit Risk Management

When I was transferred to the Head Office of the BBAC in September 2018, I was responsible for:

• Ensuring timely, accurate and effective credit administrative support to Business Partners in granting credit facilities

• Verifying approvals are in accordance to Credit Policy’s Lending Authority Limits

• Ensuring that the conditions of approvals are met, documentation are in compliance with terms of approval and bank’s policies prior to implementation of facilities

• Adhering to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance framework

• Ensuring covenants, exceptions are logged, monitored and followed through

• Attending to business partners’ queries and requests in a timely manner

• Preparing timely and accurate management reports/excess/overdue reports (daily/monthly/quarterly) to BUs for their review/rectifications/approvals/reporting.

• Maintaining internal database/applications for reporting;

• Co-ordinating, escalate and follow up with internal parties on issues for resolutions/approvals

• Contributing to process improvements to enhance productivity and improve service

• Participating in project initiatives and assignments

• Verifying the validity and completeness of documents and ensure they meet the requirements

• Keeping proper archive of all documents
